Well, the tree's up and most of our cards delivered but that's about as far as it goes in being prepared for Christmas. Present shopping and final food shop scheduled for tomorrow... fingers crossed! Then it's just pressies to wrap, cleaning up, preparing veggies for Christmas lunch and with luck we'll be ready in time!
Here's the first of my Christmas cards for this year and as I make 80+, they tend to be made in batches on a similar(ish) theme - it's the only time I do 'repeats' unless for obvious reasons such as making invitations etc. So here goes with the most simple, all individually hand stamped and heat embossed using some of the new stamps I treated myself to this year from Chloe Endean (http://www.chloescreativecards.co.uk/) using versamark ink and various (mainly sparkly) embossing powders, the greeting is by Katy Sue Designs (http://www.flower-soft.co.uk/). Thank goodness my trusty Silhouette Cameo cut out all the bauble shapes, then I simply added a sparkly border by way of a chisel tip Zig glue pen and crystal glitter.
Shame the sparkle isn't showing up too well, apart from the glittery border... mind you I'm no expert photographer so it could be down to me and my lack of skills.
Okay then, that's it for today... back tomorrow with the next one!
